Malcolm King’s short stories, non-fiction and poetry have been published in Australia, the UK and America. Many of his short stories use black humour, satire and pathos. He has worked as a senior lecturer in writing at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT), at Carnegie Mellon University and in public relations and advertising. He has written for newspapers in Hong Kong, Belfast and Melbourne. He was a senior media adviser for the Australian Democrats and the ALP in Melbourne and Canberra.
